Terms of Use

These terms apply from 15 August 2026 and replace all earlier versions.

1. Who we are

newlens limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16945634. Registered office: C/O Taxstack Accountants, 2 Burghley Way, Derby, Derbyshire, DE23 4TD. Trading from Sudbury, Suffolk. Contact: info@newlens.uk.

2. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes and for its intended purpose: learning about our services, using our free tools, and getting in touch. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, probe or test its security, scrape it at volume, or misuse any form or booking facility.

The content of this website is general information, not advice. It is not legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice, and no content here creates a consultancy engagement. Engagements are created only by a signed agreement.

3. The free tools

The "Admin Tax" Calculator and the AI Readiness Assessment produce estimates built on the figures you enter and stated assumptions. They are illustrations to help you think, not measurements of your business and not a warranty of any saving or outcome. Decisions you take based on them remain your decisions.

4. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including its text, design, tools, methods and the "Admin Tax" and "Data Debt" frameworks, belongs to newlens. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission. Reports generated for you by the free tools are yours to use within your own business.

5. Bookings and purchases

5.1 The introductory call is free and creates no obligation on either side.

5.2 The AI Confidence Session (£250, or the published founding rate). Payment is taken at booking through Stripe. If you are a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund. If you ask us to deliver the session within that 14-day period, you expressly request that we begin within the cancellation period, and if you then cancel after delivery has begun you may be charged for what has been delivered. To rearrange a booked session, give us at least 2 working days' notice and we will move it without charge.

5.3 The Automation Audit (£650, fixed). Sold to businesses. Invoiced on booking and payable before or on the day of delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing. Delivery, travel and any remote arrangement follow the published description. To rearrange, give us at least 2 working days' notice.

5.4 The Audit credit. Where an Automation Audit has been completed and paid for, £650 is credited against the fee for your first automation build. The credit applies once, to the first build only, is applied in full rather than split across builds, expires 90 days after delivery of the Audit report, and cannot reduce a build fee below zero. It has no cash value.

5.5 Payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe. newlens does not store card details. newlens is not registered for VAT and no VAT is chargeable.

6. Service engagements

Consultancy, automation and related services are provided under signed agreements: a services agreement or master agreement, orders, specifications and, where personal data is processed, a data processing agreement. Automation subscriptions are subject to fair use limits on automation runs, set out in the applicable service agreement. Where anything on this website differs from a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails.

7. Our liability for this website

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, the website is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to £100. Liability arising from a service engagement is governed by its signed agreement, not by these terms.

8. Third-party links and services

The site links to and embeds third-party services, including Calendly for booking and Stripe for payment. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from its stated date.

10. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of this website, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
